Lisbon - Day 2

We headed for a Saturday Flea Market first thing this morning.

We passed by this church along the way. We had to hoof it because by the time we tried to catch the famous No.28 tram, it was jam-packed and they would not stop for us.  We passed thru this arch on the way to the weekly San Marco Flea Market.

altogether, we walked over 6 miles today, a lot of which was up steep hills. Here's what the flea market looked like..

Our final destination was the castle. Here are some artistic shots from Ana taken from up in the turrets of the castle at sunset..

This a picture of Gina taking a picture.

We visited the Sao Jorge Castle high atop Lisbon. Wow, what a climb. The granddaughters had no problem however. They visited the castle later in the day at sunset.

Patrice and I ended the day at the home of Carol who gave a great intimate BossaNova concert with her friend Claudio on the guitar.
